Brienna Roys, Director of Aquatics, New Castle YMCA
Growing up, Brienna participated in many different sports. From the time she was young, she played soccer, softball, dance, competition baton, majorettes, volleyball, cross country, track, and swimming, She graduated in 2015 from Sharon High School as a lifelong athlete. Brienna was always willing to try new activities, which led her to try out for the rowing team at the University of Pittsburgh. Her level of physical fitness earned her a spot on the team, where she competed for four years as part of 2, 4, and 8 person crews. Because of her interest in all sports, she was elected to the Board of Directors for club sports and earned an internship as facilities manager for the University of Pittsburgh athletic department. Since graduation, Brienna has been coaching the women’s rowing team, and she is currently working at the New Castle YMCA as the Director of Aquatics.
